So a couple years ago Tom threw me this album called Source Tags & Codes and was like "this album rules, you should listen to it." So I listened a couple times, then put it away and kinda forgot about it for a while. It was okay, but not anything that really toppled my imagination and perception with waves of goodness. Except I picked it back up a few months ago, mostly because I was passing it along to someone as music in a style I thought she'd like, and I decided to listen to it again. I wasn't blown away, but I was more attracted, and after another listen or two i was fucking *hooked*. If you don't have this album and you're at all open to music in the geneeric punk genre (not three chord, the other sort) then you ought to get it. It's good beyond description, and rapidly moving into a most-favoured album spot with me. The problem is that I think it's one of those albums you have to really listen through a few times to appreciate it, and the lyrics are really hard to udnerstand. Read the lyrics though, it's absolutely worth it.

Anyway, in 48 hours and 24 minutes or so (heh) Meredith's plane will land here. God, I'm twitching. Two more days of work to go. :D This should be an awesome, awesome week. I'm starting to hear from more people in Seattle too, and hearing more about stuff, so I'm looking forward to that, too. Meanwhile I've had enough fun at work today, so I'm gonna go home. :D :D
