<3 dragonforce
In episode 1 of what should be a multi-part extravaganza of shit I forgot to notify folks about, it turns out that I really love this new Dragonforce album. It is full of solos, vocals that don't sound like they came from a swamp thing, and is generally a lot of fun. I'm not sure "fun" and "metal" are supposed to mix but, well.. there you have it, they do.
In other "fun metal" news I'm going to see Blind Guardian in November. I somehow talked Meredith into going with me, so this should be an entertaining experience on two levels. I did cut off all my awesome metal hair but even so it should still be headbanging fun.
